CZ-USA is giving coaches, shooters, parents that are associated with the league a special Pricing. I literally spoke with the rep today for around an hour. Found out some great information on what makes a trap gun a trap gun and a skeet or hunting gun. They are selling us a set of 5- CZ 612 Target guns for 399 each plus tax, shipping included. This is below dealer costs. There is now a custom price sheet for all their competition guns. I have this sheet, if you are interested let me know or reach out to the guy in charge of the program. His name is Daniel Holder Sales Assistant | Program Sales | Law Enforcement Sales CZ-USA & Dan Wesson 913 321-1811 ext 4321 If you still wondering about the barrels, the model 612 is a trap gun because it is a 80/20 meaning if you were to take a clay bird and draw a horizontal line, 80 percent of the shot would hit above the line, 20 percent below the line. 70/30 is another popular trap height Skeet guns are around a 60/40 and hunting guns shoot flat at 50/50 The reason for the trap being 80/20 is that the bird should be on top of the muzzle so you are not covering the bird like a hunting gun. This way you never loose sight of the target. If interested in this information contact Daniel or email me at mrschwarzott@gcslearn.org I did mention that they can become a league sponsor and I gave them the leagues website with contact information.
